- Diploma in Nauctical Science, choosing one's career in nactical science prepares a person to become a deck officer. Diploma in Nactical science is a one year course that results in an diploma after which the cadet joins a ship as trainee cadet officer.
- Approved by The Directorate General of Shipping, Government of India. Leading to Second Mate's Foreign-Going Certificate of competency awarded by the D.G.Shipping, Ministry of Shipping, and Goverment of India after twelve months of sea service. This enables the cadets to become Navigating Officers on board Merchant Navy Ships Worldwide.
ELIGIBILITY
CRITERIA
Academic Qualification
Pass in 10th & 12th Standard with an aggregate of PCM (Physics/ Chemistry / Mathematics) as separate 50% marks in English from a recognized board.
Age
17 to 25 years of age at the time of commencement of the course
MEDICAL
STANDARD
- Selected Canditates will undergo a stringent medical examination with a DGS Approved Doctor.
